I have been reading far, far more shoujo manga than is probably healthy for any person as of late, and I can't quite figure out why. Usually the stories are hilarious, either intentionally or not, but for the most part they're not so good as to justify my spending so much time on them. I think it has more to do with the fact that I can have an obsessive personality and it's easy for me to go through an entire storyline just to find out how it all resolves. I have discovered something amazing, however: If you don't really care whether or not five or six potential rapists love interests are going to pepper the series for the next twenty-odd volumes, you can just skip to the end.

It feels sacreligious but then I realize I'm talking about crap shoujo manga. Good shoujo manga, Fruits Basket, Ouran High and that ilk, I will happily read all of. The crap stuff, yeah, I should just skip to the end. I DON'T ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THESE PEOPLE ANYWAY. 99% of the characters PISS ME OFF. Why do I read this? Why? ;_; ;_; ;_;
